Mookie is alive.. sort of.

I almost forgot I was supposed to post a "late-night-at-work-GCI-exclusive-blog-piece" yesterday. Well, I guess I did forget. I'm working a ton. 10-14 hours a day. Boo.

Anyways, it's January. Which means we're closer to April than ever, and all our loyal GCI fans know that April is GEVA COMEDY IMPROV: BEARD-OFF time.

    I've shaved every day for a year in hopes of growing a thicker beard for this year, propeling me to number 4 in the rankings! Which...uh, doesn't really matter since GCI alum Mr. Jeff Sachs -- last year's number 4 -- moved on to Boston.

    It should be an exciting season Tim. Who knows? Perhaps the champ will make a surprise appearance or Jeff will come up to defend his #4 ranking. Swithin might not participate since it would entail him clean-shaving at some point before the judging. However, perhaps we shall amend some of the rules. (I have to do _something_ so I don't finish in last again!)

    A second beard-off?!????!?? Here this! Last year I was robbed, and in the words of our president "Beat me once, shame on you. Beat me twice shame on you, er, i mean, if you get beat once you better not get beat again." That's right, I'm pulling out all the stops, and with Josh Rice out of the way, I WILL win this time! MWWWRAGH!

    If we have a second beard competition I think it should include more opponents! Brian Doran, Jim Schmidt, and Bob Russell should always make entries!!! Not to mention Chris Holden... who somehow weasled himself out last year! Hear ye, all shall grow beards!
