We're not only working on our game for SEASON IV, but we're hannlin' up on the back end of stuff as well...tee shirts, business cards...we got a ton of stuff to make sure you see Geva Comedy Improv in the R-O-C during the 06-07 season! Just check this stuff out:

We've taken new headshots as part of our website updating. Here, BEKI looks at the bucket.

This is a mock up of a lobby display we're hoping to get into...well...the lobby at Geva Theatre Center. It needs "bees," of course, and the boldness of the letters might be a little too bold.

This was an early version of our business card's front. The final version - which you might have in your wallet - has a newer, SEASON IV-ier slogan at the bottom. Best way to get one of these? Go to Lux and find PAUL NELLIS.

We'll have three new shirts, and we're bringing back the maroon Geva Comedy Improv shirts as well. Two shirts with slogans will be in the above "stone blue" with that nice, block white lettering, and we're cooking a special "bee keepers" tee shirt for you real fans. By the way: our tee-shirts are being done by our good friend Paul and his kids at Hide The Bodies Press, located...HERE.

Tomfoolery escalates as members of Geva Comedy Improv play badminton!

The Antiquated Sporting Society - of which our own T.R. is a governor - put on its first badminton tournament yesterday and members of Geva Comedy Improv were there racketing their shuttlecocks hither and fro.

Mookie's going away party!

Well, it's been a sad few months for Geva Comedy Improv - JOANNA, MIKE, LIAM, and MOOKIE have all said their farewells to GCI for greener, much tenderer pastures. Life, as it seems, happens. MOOKIE and his parents had us all out for a farewell party for the Mooker, and it was a great time. While we never want to see any of our own gone, we know that those who have new opportunities elsewhere will be better at whetever the heck they're doing than anyone else. Good luck, friends; thanks, Mookie, and...bon voyage.

Following the improv heist movie last night, a certain Paul Nellis was complaining of back pains. Not from sleeping on it wrong. Not from lifting heavy objects. No, it was all because he loves to make you laugh. So when Mookie was thrown at Paul to take out his evil character once and for all, no one was faking anything. This, my friends, is what improv is all about. Or some of what it's about.

What should Geva Comedy Improv steal?

Hey - GCI has a big weekend of shows to end Season III coming up on July 28th and 29th; Theatre Sports on Friday at 10:30 pm, a *special* Theatre Sports on Saturday at 8:00 pm, and to close out season we've got an improv heist movie at 10:30 pm!

In an improv movie, we make up an entire storyline up, on the spot, over the course of the whole show! We've got the characters ready; how will they work out? Come and find out!

So: an improv heist movie. What should Geva Comedy Improv steal? That's where you come in! Email tgoodwin@gevatheatre.org and tell us what team GCI should "heist" on Saturday Night! We'll reveal the item during the show! Awesome!
